My Top 9 Make Up Bag Essentials

As someone who is passionate about makeup, I am always on the lookout for new products to add to my collection. However, there are certain items that I simply cannot live without. These are the products that have stood the test of time and have become my go-to makeup bag essentials. So here are my top nine must-haves:

Nars concealer shade custard
Nars Concealer

For me, the Nars Concealer in the shade Custard is a game changer. Not only does it cover any blemishes and pigmentation, but it is also perfect for hiding those dark circles under my eyes. I follow up with the YSL Touche Eclat Concealer in shade 1.5 to brighten up the area around my eyes.

Charlotte Tilbury bronzer
The Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer

The Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer is a recent discovery of mine, but it has quickly become one of my favourite products. The texture feels like a cream blush but is set as a powder, and it gives off a really nice glow without being too shiny. What I love most about it is that it isn’t a sparkly bronzer, so it gives me a more matte finish.

I have been using this particular concealer on and off since I was 18, and it has become a staple in my makeup bag. and if that is not a commitment to a product, I don’t know what is! When I used to get my make-up professionally done, make-up artists were big fans of this product, so it became a staple in my make-up bag for a very long time. My favourite thing about it has to be its ability to brighten up those darker circles around my eyes, which highlights your eyes really well.

Mac lipstick down to an art
Mac Lipstick In Down To An Art

Every woman needs a go-to lipstick, and mine is the Mac Lipstick in the shade Down to an Art. It has an overall matte finish, which is subtle enough for everyday use. but I switch it up with a darker shade like Dior 999 in the evenings.

Iconic liquid brow silk
Iconic Liquid Brow Silk

I’ve tried every brow gel out there, and the Iconic Liquid Brow Silk is by far the best option I’ve found. It’s a transparent liquid, so you don’t have to worry about getting color elsewhere on your face. I feel it almost gives your eyebrows that laminated effect, which helps to keep them in place all day long.

Volume million lashes Mascara
Volume Million Lashes Mascara

My go-to mascara is Loreal’s Volume Million Lashes. It’s affordable and it does exactly what I need it to. It gives my lashes volume and length without being too heavy or flaking off, giving me dramatic lashes. Plus, it lasts all day long with the bonus of being waterproof too.

Merit flush balm shade Stockholm blusher
Merit Flush Balm

The Merit Flush Balm in Stockholm is my favourite product from the brand. It’s a rosy blush tone that gives me that flushed effect, like when you’ve come in from the cold, giving you those neutral rosy cheeks!

beauty pie one powder wonder
Translucent Powder

I’ve been a member of Beauty Pie for a while, and it’s brilliant. it’s super affordable, and I’ve brought many of my friends’ gifts from here, too! My favourite product from them has to be the translucent powder. It does what it says on the tin and keeps my make-up finally set all day.

Hair mermaid clips
Hair Clips

Finally, I cannot forget about my trusty hair clips. These are essential in my makeup routine as they keep my hair out of the way, preventing any annoying kinks in my hair.
